Me: What’s your favorite place to play around Rhode Island?
SCC: The Parlour
Me: What’s the most money you made for playing a gig?
SCC: We played at this hotel in Boston… for the New England Fisheries or something like that. They payed us like $1000 bucks!
Me: What’s the worst gig you ever played?
SCC: McCaffrey’s in Springfield… We we’re playing a Friday night and a Saturday night, so we got a hotel. When we showed up on Saturday they said we could only play half a set for half the money because we were too loud the night before…. So we refused to play, went back to our hotel room and drank.
Me: What’s the best gig you ever played?
SCC: We open up for The Drop Kick Murphys at the House of Blues.
Me: What’s the best advice you would give to a new band, considering you’ve been together over 10 years?
SCC: Just keep playing shows… keep going!
